So this morning I was sitting in the waiting room as my vehicle's oil was being changed, and a man two seats down told me a vulgar Christmas joke. Then, ignoring my facial expression, he decided to tell another one even worse than the first.
Little did the man know his neighbor just came from receiving Jesus in the Eucharist! I took out an image of Jesus crucified along with the phenomenal book "Divine Intimacy," and nonchalantly placed them on the seat between us.
The man left having encountered the Light of the World, and gave me his blessing as he went out the door. +
