Do you see yourself in the story?

One day, I asked God to help me get to know Him better.

I suffered, and got to know Him a little better.

Then I smiled and said to God, "I want to get to know You even better!"

And so I suffered even more.

Next I said to God, still with a smile, "Dear Lord, I want to know You EVEN MORE!"

And then I suffered greatly.

So, I waited a little while before saying it again (smile).

But it did not take me long, because His love is very enticing, and because He longs to be very much loved in return.

So each time I ask, I smile, knowing what is coming. For to know Him well, one must live like He did.

And each time I ask, I get to know Him more and more.
