Did you know you
have something this valuable in YOUR home?
Imagine that you had an ancestor who
lived at the time of Christ and was a neighbor of the Holy Family. Imagine that
your forebear had commissioned St. Joseph to make a table. St. Joseph gave the job to Jesus, and He created an exceptionally
handcrafted, unique table of the highest quality materials. Jesus made the table
with the greatest care and poured tremendous love into His work because He
valued the owner. That table was truly a masterpiece of exceptional
quality. Perhaps Mary had even brushed the table with her mantel several times when she walked into the workshop with a cool drink and lunch for her humble and hardworking Son. As a caring mother would, she joined Jesus in having great value for the love that was poured into its creation for the sake of the owner.
That very table was passed down through the years, and at one point it was given to you! Imagine having such a priceless treasure in your home.
Would you value the table? How would you treat it? Would you keep it? Or, would you give it away, try to sell it, or discard it?
Would
you welcome family, friends, and perhaps even strangers into your home to see the
table? Perhaps after seeing you regard
it so highly, others would value the table as much. Perhaps others would value the table more than you!
Actually, you DO have something in your
home that was exceptionally handcrafted by God, totally unique, made with the
greatest care and tremendous love, out of the highest quality materials, and it is also valued greatly by His most loving mother.
In fact, every home has an item of such great significance, and God has placed immeasurable value on His creation. We should, too.
That which he made and values so very much is you.
God also created and values everyone you know, and everyone you do not know.

Come to recognize the extraordinary that
exists within the seemingly ordinary, in the value of every single human person.
God, the Creator of Life, is pro-life. Are you?
