I give myself entirely to You, and promise to love You and honor You, all the days of my life.
My Almighty and Triune God,
most loving Father, sweet and gentle Jesus, and Holy Spirit, my Guide, I am here because I love you, I wish to accomplish Your will,
and to beg pardon for the many offenses I commit against You daily. Thank You for your unfathomable,
unconditional love and immeasurably generous
mercy. Thank You for making life so meaningful, for
without You, my life would have no meaning.
I am sincerely sorry for the times I have been impatient
with You, with myself, and with others.
For the times I have been inflexible, resisted Your most perfect will,
for my pride, self-serving and worldly nature, for the times I have been quick to
judge, quick to anger, and slow to forgive, for the times I have spent any
effort thinking of others' and my past offenses, for my lack of charity, for the
times I have spoken unkindly to and of others, and for anything I have said, did, or
didn't do that set a bad example or led others to sin. I am horrified to think how easy it is to be
responsible for so much malice when my behavior encourages or leads others to
follow my bad example.
I greatly lack self mastery, and so need to acquire it. Please help me, Lord. Help me to listen for
Your voice, to follow Your inspirations, and to trust You without question and
without hesitation. Help me to advance
in the spiritual life so that Your will may best be accomplished in me and
through me.
You said "Ask and you shall receive," and so now I ask You for Your pardon for all
of my sins, and also for all of the sins of every single person on earth who is
pro-abortion. I ask You for their
pardon, for their conversion, and for complete healing spiritually,
emotionally, and physically. Sweet and
gentle Jesus, truly Present in the Blessed Sacrament, please infuse our hearts
with the graces we need to bring an end to legalized abortion and euthanasia in
every nation on earth.
I give myself entirely to You, and promise to love You and
honor You, all the days of my life.
