Dear God,
Thank You for all of creation, so vast and astounding.
For faith, graces, and blessings.
For sending Jesus to redeem us and teach us how to love and serve.
For family, friends, acquaintances, and strangers.
For giving us the freedom to make decisions.
For rules.
For the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
For orchestrating so many deeply meaningful moments
that we share with You and with one another.
For creativity.
For music and colors.
For sending us shepherds and saints.
For children!
For giving each of us a mission.
For food, shelter, and warmth.
For pets.
For hobbies, sports, and interests.
For so many phenomenal Catholic books!
For compassion, concern, and caring.
For quiet time alone with You.
For so many gifts, so freely given.
For the opportunity to love You, honor You, and serve You, all the days of our lives.
The list could go on forever!
Thank you, God, for everything.
Prayer of St. John Vianney
I love You, O my God,
And my only desire is to love You
Until the last breath of my life.
I love You, O my infinitely lovable God,
And I would rather die loving You,
Than live without loving You.
I love You, Lord
And the only grace I ask is to love You eternally…
My God, if my tongue cannot say
in every moment that I love You,
I want my heart to repeat it to You
as often as I draw breath.
