What would/does your tree for Jesus look like?
A favorite image from JKP's entire collection
While making a Holy Hour to prepare for the majestic Holy Sacrifice of the Mass this morning, Jesus and I decorated a Christmas tree in our unified hearts, in honor of His birthday.
On our tree,
St. Benedict Crosses in silver and black hang from a third of the
branches. Beautiful gold and red globes hang in pairs from the rest,
representing each individual God ever created (gold) and Christ's
Precious Blood shed for each one of us (red).
The
tree is lit up with many white lights, symbolizing the purity of the
Light of the World, and is topped by a beautiful, ornate, gold star,
which is actually a monstrance! The star and the monstrance show us that Jesus is coming, and Jesus is here!
Underneath the tree is a beautiful red velvet tree skirt. Resting on the skirt are a manger, a vow of poverty, and plenty of gratitude.
Keep Christ in Christmas,
and spend lots of time with Him during AdvLent.
Get to know Him better. He is so in love with you!
