Two Good Friday Lessons Jesus Teaches Through All Time: Patient Suffering and Forgiveness

May we profit by His example.

All Jesus Christ did, He did for us. His prayers, His tears, His watchings, His fasting,
His preaching, His journeys, His conversations, His miracles-all those were for us.

It is very profitable for our souls to meditate on Christ's Passion every single day.

Especially today, Good Friday, we are reminded that throughout Jesus' entire life
of sacrifice, service, and surrender to the will of God the Father,
which concluded with His brutal Passion and Crucifixion,
He showed us by example two very important things.

Jesus taught us how to suffer patiently and He taught us to forgive.
