Sweet Jesus on this day, Your wish is my command.
Revelation
of the Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, on June 16, 1675,
when the last of the grand revelations relative to the Sacred Heart took
place:
"Behold," Jesus said to her, "this Heart which has so loved men
that it has spared nothing, even to exhausting and consuming itself, in
order to testify its love. In return, I receive from the greater part
only ingratitude, by their irreverence and sacrilege, and by the
coldness and contempt they have for Me in this sacrament of love. And
what is most painful to Me, is that they are hearts consecrated to Me."
Then, He commanded her to have a particular feast to honor His Sacred
Heart established in the Church.
"Apply
yourself diligently to honor My Sacred Heart and also the Heart of My
Mother.
Never separate these two hearts.
It is My desire that you pray
to these two hearts for yourself and for sinners."
~ Jesus to Sr. Mary
of St. Peter
"Trust all things to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament
and to Mary, Help of Christians,
and you will see what miracles are."
~ Saint John Bosco
