How to Bloom in a Garden in Great Need of Care and Repair

Some advice on fulfilling God's will from the Master Gardener.

The Lord responds to your legitimate concerns discussed with Him in prayer.

LORD, I WANT TO LEAVE THIS GARDEN

He says to you, "Bloom where you are planted."

Naturally, you ask Him, "How can I possibly bloom here?"

The Lord's response:  "You have been planted at the foot of the Cross, where you are to surrender your will and be crucified with Christ."

SOWING SEEDS

Tertullian called the blood of the martyrs the seed (of the Church).

LIVING IN IMITATION OF THE GARDENER

Jesus appeared to Saint Faustina stripped and wounded,  His Sacred Face disfigured and covered with spit.

He said to her, "The bride must resemble her Betrothed...See what love of human souls has done to Me. My daughter, in your heart I find everything that so great a number of souls refuses Me. Your heart is My repose."

MEDITATING ON CHRIST'S PASSION HELPS US BLOOM AND GROW

Meditate on Christ's Passion every single day.

Doing so is of great profit to our souls, and helps us bloom where we have been planted: Meditating on Christ's Passion: Suggestions to Help You, Straight from the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

YOU WERE PLANTED IN THE GARDEN FOR A REASON

Perhaps the following story (click on the link) will encourage you to bloom and thrive where you have been planted, especially when the garden is in much need  of care and repair: "The Gardener, the Garden, the Seeds, and the Sowing."

The Lord has planted you there for a reason.  You are one of the seeds the Master Gardener has sown to help care for and repair His precious Garden.

You make it beautiful again, like Him.  +

The Lord has planted you there for a reason.  You are one of the seeds the Master Gardener has sown to help guide precious, immortal souls to God and to heaven.  Forever.

God is at work in you!

"Trust all things to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary, Help of Christians,
and you will see what miracles are."

~ Saint John Bosco

"Remember that when you leave this earth you can taken nothing of what you have received,
but only what you have a given:
a full heart, enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice, and courage."

~ Saint Francis of Assisi (c. 1181 - 1226)

St. Francis of Assisi was hoeing his garden
when someone asked what he would do if he were suddenly to learn
that he would die before sunset that very day.
"I would finish hoeing my garden,"
he replied.

  "Francis, repair My House."
