The brand new crown suddenly broke in half while at work yesterday afternoon as the years-long dental armageddon continues. Jesus' very gentle response? "You get a new tooth." But that wasn't all. What wonders!
JESUS, BOTH THE DIVINE BRIDEGROOM AND GUEST
So a brand new crown on a back molar broke in half while chewing something soft late yesterday while at work.
The crown broke into two pieces.
One piece, half the crown, came out and the other half remains in place.
Fortunately, in two days a dental appointment is already scheduled to put in the brand new bridge.
Best case scenario is that there will be another dental appointment after that; hoping for that best case scenario.
Show us Your strength, O Lord.
THE TRADITIONAL TRIDENTINE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS CELEBRATED IN LATIN ON THIS TUESDAY MORNING AT ST. JOSEPH'S
Jesus the Divine Bridegroom of every soul comes to console you Himself, and with Himself, after this latest dental wonder during this brutally penitential year.
He sits right next to you in the pew prior to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, while first offering Almighty God the Prayers of Reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus.
This was so deeply affecting, so unfathomably loving, and of course comforting and fortifying.
Jesus remained by your side as both Divine Bridegroom of every soul and as the Divine Guest, taking last place alongside you there in the back row, kneeling, sitting, standing, there with you during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, then while coming as He promised during the Consecrations of Both Sacred Species at His High Altar on Mount Calvary, while offering the Lord's Prayer, and then He accompanied you up the isle during Holy Communion to receive and to be unified with His Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
He remained at your side kneeling during the Marian prayers following the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, asking with you for the maternal intercession of the Immaculate Mother of God and the Mother of both the Divine Groom and His bride.
What wonders!
And then, He accompanied you to work at the clinic.
"Trust all things to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and to Mary, Help of Christians, and you will see what miracles are." ~ Saint John Bosco +
