Total Immersion

Like so much this unprecedented year, the events that suddenly began this weekend were surprising and unexpected on this mid-October Saturday morning in 2024. What wonders! “Let us never forget that an age prospers or dwindles in proportion to its devotion to the Holy Eucharist. This is the measure of its spiritual life and its faith, of its charity and its virtue.” ~ Saint Peter Julian Eymard

TOTAL IMMERSION

Quickly eating some homemade vegetable soup before beginning another fast while seated beside a blissfully comforting and soothing lit beeswax votive candle.

So grateful.

NO ST. JOSEPH'S SUDDENLY THIS SATURDAY MORNING, WHAT WONDERS, AND HERE'S WHY

“The Blessed Sacrament is that Presence which makes a Catholic Church different from every other place in the world; which makes it, as no other place can be, holy.” ~ Cardinal Newman

The plan was to be at St. Joseph's this morning for the 8:00 a.m. Holy Sacrifice of the Mass but that is not what happened.

Clothes were readied the night before, but then at 5:00 a.m. when the alarm clock sounded, the writer of this was in pain that was total, it was everywhere, and so there would be no going anywhere.

It was as if this system was suddenly completely incapacitated.

And yet there was no lamenting, there was total surrender to the most perfect will of God.

"God gives each one of us sufficient grace ever to know His holy will, and to do it fully." ~ Saint Ignatius of Loyola

TOTAL SUBMISSION TO GOD'S DIVINE SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY IN IMITATION OF AND IN UNION WITH CHRIST

"All the things in this world are gifts of God, created for us, to be the means by which we can come to know Him better, love Him more surely, and serve Him more faithfully." ~ Saint Ignatius of Loyola

There was no disappointment about missing the Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass this morning; instead there was an understated, humble, and happy feeling of peace that was total.

Complete peace.

Instead of going to church to honor God and worship Him as He wishes, this morning He wanted you to stay put and rest and that will go for tomorrow as well.

Following a restful, peaceful, and quiet breakfast in bed, and soon after that a quick homemade vegetable soup lunch, another fast has begun.

What wonders.

"Take, O Lord, and receive my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding and my whole will. All that I am and all that I possess You have given me. I surrender it all to You to be disposed of according to Your will. Give me only Your love and Your grace; with these I will be rich enough, and will desire nothing more. " ~ Saint Ignatius of Loyola

WHAT WAS SUDDENLY REVEALED FROM ON HIGH WHILE HAVING BREAKFAST IN BED IN THE RESTFUL AND RESTORATIVE PEACE AND QUIET

"O my God, teach me to be generous to serve You as You deserve to be served, to give without counting the cost, to fight without fear of being wounded, to work without seeking rest, and to spend myself without expecting any reward but the knowledge that I am doing Your holy will. Amen. " ~ Saint Ignatius of Loyola

After relaxing and then just before finally arising late into the morning, in order to eat prior to beginning another fast, the following was revealed from On High right there in your sleeping quarters.

The blissful feeling you had been experiencing while totally cooperating with God's most perfect will

is your total immersion in the Blessed Sacrament which is Divinely infused with everything around you including the air, the bed and the bed coverings you make reparation on and are resting on, in all the things visible to you there in the natural, the walls, the structure that contains you, etc.

In the past, the perpetual indwelling of the Blessed Sacrament within the person who has received the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist has been manifested, but this is the first time you had personally experienced this total immersion of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in all created things, since everything has been and is created by God and God is three Divine Persons-in-One (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost).

Jesus' Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist is Jesus, and Jesus is His Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist.

More about this, to clarify, will be presented in the subsequent post, "Total Immersion, Part 2."

This event was sudden and unexpected, and so quiet, so understated, so hidden, so elegant, so peaceful, so blissful, so completely beautiful, and unfathomably sacrificially loving.

That is the environment in which God works His wonders most powerfully, and that is why it was like being in church for the quiet, understated, hidden, elegant, peaceful, blissful, completely beautiful, and sacrificially loving celebration of the Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Latin.

"All we are is what we are in the eyes of God, and nothing more." ~ Saint John Vianney

WHAT COMES NEXT

After this posting is finished, the Tridentine documentary's Chapter on spiritual combat, titled "Sacrificial Prayer," will be finished.

If time and the good Lord allow, work will continue on the script's other chapters.

Still hoping to release the documentary by Christmas 2024.
