It's
not like He wasn't there, but He manifested Himself in an especial way
last week as a weary dental patient arrived to have the second new crown
re-cemented on after the first new crown broke in half, and the new
temporary crown broke in half, and then the second new crown came off
just hours after being put in, after that tooth's previous crown was
removed along with the decay underneath it, then it became infected (one of two tooth infections at the same time) and
that went systemic, and then it needed a root canal. All that came on the heels of an
unfathomable and bizarre three-year dental armegeddon of one thing after another. What wonders.
HOW OUR LORD CAME IN PARTICULAR TO THE DENTIST A WEEK AGO TO BE WITH A VERY WEARY DENTAL PATIENT MAKING REPARATION IN OTHER WAYS ALSO, CONCURRENTLY
Time is your most valuable resource; your free time which is in the minority of your time is precious and priceless and has been consumed by so much traveling - particularly this extraordinary year of unfathomable reparative suffering - to get to the care that has been needed.
While sitting in the dental chair, your usual compassionate advocate not there that day and with no neck support pillow which is a game-changer, suffering and hoping this new tooth finally stays on and doesn't split in half like the previous new two did as it seemed that your situation at this moment was being rushed, weary from so much four alarm "firefighting" and for so long, Jesus suddenly appeared there in the little room.
Countless times you have joined Him on the Cross throughout your life,
AND THIS TIME JESUS JOINED YOU ON YOUR CROSS RIGHT THERE IN THE DENTAL CHAIR.
It was absolutely stunning, and unfathomably beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
What wonders.
CRIED ALL THE WAY HOME, WEARY, YES, BUT BECAUSE OUR LORD IS SO UNFATHOMABLY LOVING
So hoping that crown stays on, for about thirty years (it didn't).
OUR LORD THEN ASKS THAT MORE REPARATION BE MADE THROUGH THAT AFTERNOON
Wow was it personally costly.
Our Lord has accrued a massive fortune that has nothing to do with dollars and cents and He is going to spend it for the sake of the whole world in our time.

THE NEW CROWN SUDDENLY CAME OFF AGAIN THE DAY AFTER IT WAS GLUED ON, AGAIN, WHILE EATING SOFT SOUP
One just cannot make this up.
In God we totally trust.
HAVING TO RETURN TO THE DENTIST, AGAIN; DELAYING IT AS LONG AS POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO GET SOME REST
Fortunately, a four day weekend was clearly visible on the horizon.
