Subtitled "God's Prodigal Sons and Daughters," for every soul. What wonders! “The more precious the commodity, the higher its price;and the most precious possession in the world is the love of God. “You don’t get this, I don’t say for nothing or cheaply; you pay, and you pay dearly.”~ Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J., “The Cost of Loving God”
"There are many thoughts in the heart of a man: but the will of the Lord shall stand firm." ~ Proverbs 19:21
GOD'S PRODIGAL SONS AND DAUGHTERS
"Son, thou art always with me, and all I have is thine...But it was fit that we should make merry and be glad, for this thy brother was dead and is come to life again; he was lost, and is found." ~ Luke 15:31-32
This day begins with breakfast in the company of Jesus the Divine King of All Kings and Divine Bridegroom of every soul, prior to leaving for the church for the offering of the Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Latin.
Hungering and thirsting at the pre-wedding breakfast in the peaceful company of the Divine Bridegroom, for the Divine Bridegroom of every soul and for the sake of the whole world.
What wonders!
GOD, THE WORLD, AND THE SELF
"Men are generally the carpenters of their own crosses.” ~ Saint Philip Neri
Everyone has a fallen human nature.
When freely and humbly willing to return to God after having strayed from Him, in small ways and in large ways and in all the ways in between throughout our lives, we become God's prodigal sons and daughters.
Life is full of such priceless and joyous opportunities to be reconciled with our lavishly loving and merciful God, including through the wedding gift Jesus provided for each one of us: the offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated in Latin, where God alone is worshiped and adored as one weds one's life to Christ each time it is offered by a member of the Sacred Catholic Priesthood of Jesus Christ.
“It is better to be a child of God than king of the whole world.” ~ Saint Aloysius Gonzaga
Receiving the Sacrament of Penance, which Jesus personally established also for our sake, provides us another vital opportunity of immeasurable worth to be reconciled with God.
The Blessed Sacrament and the Sacrament of Reconciliation are two inseparable Sacraments of Divine Intimacy, for every soul.
“Perfection consists in fighting against our imperfections…In this enterprise, we must have courage and patience…in this…we are always victorious provided we are willing to fight.” ~ Saint Francis de Sales
SAINT PHILIP NERI HELPS CELEBRATE THE TRIDENTINE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS AS ONE WITH THE PRIEST, WHAT WONDERS
“The language of love is sacrifice.” ~ Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J., “The Holy Eucharist – The Triple Sacrament - The Triple Source of Grace”
Our Divine Redeemer has not manifested on this morning that He is celebrating the Holy Sacrifice as One with His celebrant (as He had on other days), so in the holy silence you ask the Divine Bridegroom of every soul, "You won't be celebrating the Holy Sacrifice together with the priest today?"
Jesus states that on this occasion, He is going to meet you in the center isle at the end of your pew in the very back during Holy Communion, and He is going to walk you up the isle to the communion rail where you will receive and be properly and reverently unified with His Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament.
This is so unfathomably beautiful that many tears of love, longing, fulfillment, and gratitude pour forth again and you reply to Him,
"Jesus, You already came for me a long time ago."
God's love for every one of us is so beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Let us love Him beautifully in return, above all.
"He that loveth not, knoweth not God: for God is charity." ~ 1 John 4:8
THE WEDDING ALBUM, THE ROMAN MISSAL ON CHRIST'S HIGH ALTAR, MAJESTICALLY COMES TO LIFE IN THE SUPERNATURAL THERE IN THE NATURAL
"Today I am no longer in myself. I am with my God; all for Him, and He all in me and for me, Jesus is with me, He is all mine. He is alone, alone, and I am alone to bless Him, alone to pay Him court. He dwells in the miserable cell of my heart and His Majesty disappears. We are alone, alone, and my heart beats continually with that of Jesus. Jesus forever! The Heart of Jesus and my heart are one and the same thing. A moment does not pass without my feeling His dear presence always manifesting Himself in the most loving way." ~ Saint Gemma Galgani
THE CONSECRATION: SAINT (FATHER) PHILIP NERI TAKES THE SACRED HOST HE ELEVATED AND PLACES IT ON THE PILE OF HOLY COMMUNIONS COLLECTING IN THE SUPERNATURAL ON THE HIGH ALTAR, "HEAVEN'S CURRENCY," AS PART OF ALMIGHTY GOD'S SPECIAL COLLECTION BEING TAKEN UP THROUGH THE SPENDING OF THE SELF IN UNION WITH CHRIST AS HE WILLS FOR THE SAKE OF THE WHOLE WORLD IN OUR TIME
"Teach us to give and to not count the cost." ~ Saint Ignatius of Loyola
This collection, this living offering of self-giving, with purity of intention and devoid of self interest in imitation of and in union with Christ, continues to accrue there as Almighty God wills.
“Lord, when are You going to cash it in and spend it, and on what?” you wonder.
THE FINAL ELEVATION, JUST PRIOR TO HOLY COMMUNION
“If you consider the poor in light of faith, then you will observe that they are taking the place of the Son of God who chose to be poor.” ~ Saint Vincent de Paul
St. Philip Neri elevates the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament as One with the celebrant (and with Christ) facing east at the High Altar in God’s House on Mount Calvary.
DIVINE UNION DURING HOLY COMMUNION
"O sublime humility! O humble sublimity! That the Lord of the whole universe, God and the Son of God, should humble himself like this and hide under the form of a little bread, for our salvation.” ~ Saint Francis of Assisi
All is so much more beautiful and unfathomably moving than can be expressed and experienced via the spoken and/or written word.
Each one of us, God's prodigal sons and daughters, belong at the Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated in Latin and, when present for the offering of It, and while offering ourselves during it, become part of the celebration of It.
There, each precious one is wed to, unified with, and transformed by the sacramental power of God, through the Immaculate Mother of God, into the Divine object of our deepest desire, Jesus Christ, the Divine object of our deepest desire.
