Holy Thursday, 2025: This is Catholic Courage, for every soul. "We should speak to God as a friend speaks to his friend, or a servant to his master, sometimes asking a favor, sometimes accusing ourselves of our faults, sometimes laying before Him all that concerns us, our thoughts, our doubts, our projects, and our dispositions, and asking counsel from Him in all these things." ~ Saint Ignatius
THE TRIDENTINE DOCUMENTARY, PART 4, CHAPTER 31: "SACRIFICIAL CONTEMPLATION"
"I stand between two eternities. I must fall either into one or the other." ~ Saint Ambrose
WEDNESDAY MORNING OF HOLY WEEK 2025: IMMERSED IN THE BLESSED TRINITY - GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT - PRIOR TO THE OFFERING OF THE MAJESTIC TRADITIONAL TRIDENTINE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS CELEBRATED IN LATIN AT SAINT JOSEPH'S
"Recall yourself sometimes to the interior solitude of your heart, and there, removed from all creatures, treat of the affairs of your salvation and your perfection with God, as a friend would speak heart to heart with another." ~ Saint Francis of Sales
All of a sudden, while kneeling quietly prior to the offering to Almighty God of the Prayers of Reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus and to the start of the Holy Sacrifice, there is the sudden immersion in the Blessed Trinity.
It was very beautiful, consoling, and beneficial.
"By My Holy Face you will work wonders, appease the anger of God, and draw down mercy on sinners." ~ Jesus to Sr. Mary of St. Peter
SUDDEN DEATH
"You will note that the Lord establishes as the prime good contemplation, that is the gaze turned in the direction of the things of God. Hence we say that the other virtues, however useful and good we may say they are, must nevertheless be put on a secondary level, since they are all practiced for the sake of this one. 'You are full of worry and are upset over many things when actually it should be over a few or even one.' In saying this the Lord locates the primary good not in activity, however praiseworthy, however abundantly fruitful, but in the truly simple and unified contemplation of Himself. ~ Saint John Cassian
The new vehicle died three times, there is always the death of what one wants when it isn't what God wants, and then a cherished someone passed away suddenly last week.
“Let us bind ourselves tightly to the Sorrowful Heart of our Heavenly Mother and reflect on its boundless grief and how precious is our soul.” ~ Saint (Padre) Pio
UNFATHOMABLE DAILY REPARATIVE SUFFERING AND IN SO MANY VARIOUS WAYS
"Souls who aspire to a sublime union with God by contemplation usually suffer interior purgations in one way or another." ~ Saint Paul of the Cross
There is so much suffering it is astonishing.
THE GREAT QUIET
"Although Jess was always indissolubly united to His Father by the Beatific Vision and the plenitude of charity, He willed to consecrate to Him exclusively a part of His human activity: the time of prayer." ~ Father Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen, O.C.D., "Divine Intimacy," p. 172
The reparative suffering continues to be extreme and you very much appreciate the quiet in the natural and in the supernatural there inside of God's House to begin the day.
Then you smile and - without making a sound - once again say to our Lord, as in the recent past here when God is very quiet, "Something extraordinary is coming, isn't it."
THE BLOODY SWEAT
"We cannot imagine a more intimate and profound prayer than the prayer of Jesus. Only in heaven, where it will be given us also to see God face to face, shall we be able to understand it and really participate in it. But even here on earth we can imitate the conduct of Jesus by readily interrupting any activity, even apostolic work, in order to devote to prayer the time assigned to it, leaving everything else to focus our attention on God alone." ~ Father Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen, O.C.D., "Divine Intimacy," p. 172
This bloody sweat followed the one the day before, while standing during the longer reading of the Gospel on Tuesday of Holy Week 2025.
In the interest of not passing out, you knelt for the longer Gospel reading today.
However, it was after the Gospel reading during today's Holy Sacrifice of the Mass when the bloody sweat suddenly occurred on this Wednesday morning during Lent while in God's House.
"When a soul is thus recollected in solitude far from creatures and from self, and desires nothing but to converse with You, O Lord, You do not delay in letting Yourself be found." ~ Father Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen, O.C.D., "Divine Intimacy," p. 174
DIVINE UNION WITH CHRIST IN THE GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE AND HIS PRAYER THERE TO ALMIGHTY GOD OUR FATHER FOR OUR SAKE, DURING THE QUIET AND PEACEFUL OFFERING OF THE TRADITIONAL TRIDENTINE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS CELEBRATED IN LATIN ON WEDNESDAY OF HOLY WEEK 2025 AT SAINT JOSEPH'S
Jesus, "...You make me understand that my activity is fruitless and my works sterile unless they are impregnated and imbued with prayer and union with God." ~ Father Gabriel of St. Mary Magdalen, O.C.D., "Divine Intimacy," p. 173
During the bloody sweat this morning, there was also the union with Christ as He prayed to Almighty God our Father during His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, as well as with His act of prayer and the prayers He was offering.
This offering was one with the offering of your prayers that God's will be dome, in union with Christ on this morning in the Garden of Gethsemane in His time while at St. Joseph's in our time, during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and through the Work of Reparation to His Holy Face (Sacred Heart, Divine Mercy, and Holy Face combined).
THE CONSECRATION OF EACH SACRED SPECIES OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT AND DIVINE UNION WITH THE REAL PRESENCE OF JESUS DURING HOLY COMMUNION
It was in this same manner that Christ our Divine Redeemer, Divine Restorer, Divine Remedy for All, and the Divine Bridegroom of every soul came to His people in the Blessed Sacrament during the Consecration and then during Holy Communion, in particular by the sharing in His act of prayer, in His offering to Almighty God of His prayers, and in the spending of Himself in the Garden of Gethsemane for the greater honor and glory of God first and foremost and then for the sake of the entire human race.
PRAYING THE HOLY ROSARY OF OUR LADY WHILE TRAVELING TO WORK AT THE CLINIC FOLLOWING THE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS
"In the active life all the vices are first of all to be removed by the practice of good works, so that in the contemplative life a man may, with now purified mental gaze, pass on to the contemplation of the Divine Light." ~ Saint Isidore of Seville
While driving to work in our time, in the loaner vehicle as yours was being repaired, and while praying the Holy Rosary of Our Lady in Latin, the offering of the Lord's Prayer was suddenly unified with Christ's prayers to Almighty God our Father during His agony in the Garden of Gethsemane in His time.
What wonders.
"The saints are like the stars, who, in His providence, Christ hides under a seal, lest they appear whenever they wish. Instead, they are always ready to disembark from the quiet of contemplation into the works of mercy at the time decided upon by God, whenever their heart should hear the word of command.” ~ Saint Anthony of PaduaThe worldly want the saints to be like the worldly are, but instead the saints hunger and thirst to be like Jesus Christ our Divine Redeemer, Divine Restorer, the Divine Remedy for All, and the Divine Bridegroom of Every Soul.
