Survived some sort of severely penitential poisoning last week while having to wrap up the 2024 tax circus and address another dental abscess. So grateful to the calm tax preparer and dental team, to my two caring colleagues and our compassionate patients, to everyone at Saint Joseph's, to Jesus for coming in the Blessed Sacrament, and to Saint Joseph for his ongoing protection.
When I agreed to executive produce the Tridentine Documentary one year ago, after it had been suddenly delivered at a chiropractic clinic on the Feast of Saint Joseph, I expected it to be an hour and twenty minutes long and focus on what happened to the celebration of the Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
After beginning some research, and learning a lot I never knew, my health was restored by Dr. Second Oldest Brother to the point where a return to Saint Joseph's and to the celebration of the Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated in Latin there suddenly became possible Labor Day weekend 2024.
The content for the Tridentine Documentary then began coming in earnest and the script focused on the greatest love story of all time.
So much beautiful material came from On High and kept coming that the documentary was divided into two parts, so that the Christmas 2024 release date could be met.
Part 1, Chapters 1 - 9, was released for Christmas 2024 and is an hour and a half long.
Part 2, Chapters 10 - 18, was released Candlemas 2025 (February 2nd) and is an hour and a half long.
While production on Part 2 was concluding earlier this year (2025), Parts 3 and 4 began coming in earnest.
All the while, Joseph Karl Publishing's main operating system was on the verge of breaking in half.
Then came a virus that lasted a month and a half, then the new vehicle's battery died twice, the computer with all the documentary software and files on it went to the computer doctor to see if it could be saved and it was one thing after another with that (the repair part needed was most recently held up in customs), and then came the explosion, the fire, the smoke, and the cascade of horrible health consequences from ongoing smoke and chemical inhalation at home.
Then last week came some sort of very penitential poisoning.
The contents of this documentary are unfathomably valuable.
Part 3, Chapters 19 - 27, will be released for Christmas 2025 and is expected to be an hour and a half long.
Part 4, Chapters 28 - 36, will be released on Candlemas 2026 (February 2nd) and is expected to be an hour and a half long.
The documentary, including all four parts, is expected to be six and a half hours long.
The entire script will be released on the 2026 Feast of Saint Joseph (March 19th).
All of the work at Joseph Karl Publishing led up to and prepared for this documentary for every soul.
Last Monday the sudden onset of systemic pain was severe and it lasted all week, as did the cognitive impacts which particularly delayed the writing of the script some more.
Late last week, nothing from the script, which is mostly stored in my mind although there are some notes to go by, could be recalled at all.
Absolutely nothing.
Thanks be to God for the dramatic improvement this weekend.
The cherished final chapter of the Tridentine Documentary in print has now been final edited (Sacrificial Courage) and is ready to record for every soul prior to its release as a video.
Remaining in production are Chapters 19 - 35; they will arrive in print first (then released as videos) out of chronological order.
And the Novena to Saint Joseph is now being offered perpetually.
