It has been all-out spiritual combat with a newly broken front tooth, the sound of an extraordinarily furious someone screaming late at night somewhere close by, legal summons (plural) taped to the garage door and then the front door that seeks a person who doesn't live here, and then someone refusing to identify him or herself while disturbing the peace by POUNDING on the front door in the dark tonight. What wonders!
With gratitude to the fine team that so beautifully fixed that front tooth by also addressing the one below it, who treated me so kindly during that penitential process in the company of Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace, as perpetual Eucharistic Adoration broadcast in the room on my cell phone.
Sore and hurting, but mending.
