As the offering and celebration of the majestic Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass begins in the holy peace and quiet, it is manifested in the supernatural there in the natural that on this day there will be a Divine Royal Wedding to the Most Perfect Will of Almighty God, through Jesus. What wonders! "At every celebration of the Eucharist, we are spiritually brought back to the paschal Triduum: to the events of the evening of Holy Thursday, to the Last Supper and to what followed it." ~ Saint John Chrysostom
THIS IS CATHOLIC COURAGE
Imagine unifying one's will to the sacrificially loving Divine Will of the One who walked on water.
What wonders!
From the Tridentine Documentary's Part 3, for every soul.
THIS DAY’S WEDDING EVENTS BEGIN WITH A RECURRING THEME
That theme is the most perfect will of our lavishly loving Creator and each person's responsibilities in God's service as His creation, including each one's unique individual role in His Divine Economy of Salvation.
What is God's will for each one of us?
Jesus the Divine Bridegroom of every soul told us Himself that every one of us is to love the Lord God with one's whole heart, soul, and mind; and to love one's neighbor as one's self.
"’Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law?’ Jesus said to him: ‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets.’” ~ Matthew 22: 36 – 40
Jesus also said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15).
This day, there will be another wedding of the wills: the union of one’s free will to Christ’s free will and they will be presented as one to Almighty God through the maternal intercession of the Immaculate Mother of the Divine Bridegroom of every soul during the majestic offering of the Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass celebrated in Latin.
The Divine and Eternal Father of Jesus the Divine Bridegroom of every soul has many gifts for His family, bestowed upon and distributed to those who are willing through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass of the Ages.
His gift to us at this offering to Him is the accomplishing and the accomplishment of His most perfect will as He wills it.
All His laws and all His plans for us are good and of eternal benefit for each person and his/her precious, priceless, and immortal soul.
“The surest method of arriving at a knowledge of God's eternal purposes about us is to be found in the right use of the present moment. God's will does not come to us in the whole, but in fragments, and generally in small fragments. It is our business to piece it together, and to live it into one orderly vocation.” ~ Father Frederick William Faber
PRIOR TO THE OFFERING OF THE TRADITIONAL TRIDENTINE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS CELEBRATED IN LATIN
Often the forces of darkness are allowed to voice their displeasure first thing in the morning, and often quite severely at that.
A fine remedy for that is the "Gloria Patri" followed by "The Angelus."
The forces of darkness do not mind interrupting.
They are masters at distraction.
A MARY CHRISTMAS
From
Saint Bernard of Clairvaux: "You have heard, O Virgin, that you will
conceive and bear a Son; you have heard that it will not be by man but
by the Holy Spirit. The angel awaits an answer; it is time for him to
return to God who sent him. We too are waiting, O Lady, for your word of
compassion; the sentence of condemnation weighs heavily upon us.
"The
price of our salvation is offered to you. We shall be set free at once
if you consent. In the eternal Word of God we all came to be, and
behold, we die. In your brief response we are to be remade in order to
be recalled to life."
Our Lady’s “Fiat!”, her unconditional “Yes” to God, is worth imitating, and offering together with hers during the mystical re-presentation of her Divine Son's complete offering of Himself on Mount Calvary in His time during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as He comes to us in our time in His entirety (Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity) in the Blessed Sacrament, for the greater honor and glory of our Triune God first and foremost and then for the sake of the whole world.
From Saint Peter Damian, regarding the Immaculate Mother of God: "In your hands are the treasures of the Lord's mercy. You alone have been chosen to receive this great privilege. Far be it from you that your hand should cease to give, eager as you are for an occasion to save the wretched and to pour forth your mercy. For your glory is not lessened but enhanced when sorrowful sinners obtain forgiveness and, justified, are taken to Heaven. It is our highest glory, next to God, to behold you, to cleave to you, and to stay under your strong protection. Hear us, for even your Son honors you by refusing nothing to you - He who is God, blessed forever. Amen."
WEDDING GOD'S WILL
To wed one's self to Christ is to wed one's will to Almighty God's will as well, and the Immaculate Mother of the Divine Bridegroom our Redeemer has a God-given instrumental mission to help us do this.
She is the Immaculate Mother of all Eucharistic adorers; she is the greatest Eucharistic adorer there is.
"Love cannot triumph unless it becomes the one passion of our life. Without such passion we may produce isolated acts of love; but our life is not really won over or consecrated to an ideal. Until we have a passionate love for our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament we shall accomplish nothing." ~ Saint Peter Julian Eymard
THE OFFERING OF THE MAJESTIC TRADITIONAL TRIDENTINE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS CELEBRATED IN LATIN, COMPLETE SURRENDER, AND THE SACRED WEDDING VOW
“Holiness is an unselfing of ourselves.” ~ Father Frederick William Faber
One proclaims one's sacred vows to Jesus privately in public, over and over and over during the sacred offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
What wonders!
“Where there is no obedience, there is no virtue. Where there is no virtue, there is no good. Where there is no good, there is no love… there is no God, and where there is no God, there is no paradise.” ~ Saint Pio of Pietrelcina
To vow, "I do" to Jesus Christ is vow, "Thy will be done" to Almighty God our Father in imitation of and in union with our Redeemer and His Immaculate Mother.
The sacred wedding vow is proclaimed in so many places throughout the Roman Rite and in so many ways as Jesus offers Himself for each one of us and makes His Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament available to us.
One's vow begins during one's preparation and comes to fruition at the start and continues through the final offering of the Marian Prayers and the concluding, "Cor Iesu Sacratissimum, miserere nobis" ("Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us").
The offering of self as Almighty God wills, in imitation of and in union with Christ, continues during the offering of one's Mea Culpa, while holding one's self accountable for one's actions and acknowledging one's faults, through the Gloria, the readings, the sermon, and the Creed.
One's vow encompasses the Consecration of both Sacred Species, and the offering to Almighty God of the Lord’s Prayer which was given to us by Jesus where we consent "Thy will be done.”
“Let us always keep before our eyes the fact that here on Earth we are on a battlefield and that in paradise we shall receive the crown of victory, that this is a testing-ground and the prize will be awarded up above; that we are now in the land of exile while our true homeland is Heaven to which we must continually aspire.” ~ Saint Pio of Pietrelcina
LOVE'S SECRET
Also encompassed in one's selfless act of true charity expressed as a promise as God alone is worshiped, also included in one's willingness to spend one's self in union with Christ as Almighty God wills for each one, is union with the Real Presence of the Divine Bridegroom during Holy Communion, as well as all the Signs of the Cross made in the natural there on Mount Calvary in the supernatural where heaven meets earth.
God our Creator gifts us with the accomplishing of His will as He wills it, which is always in everyone's best interests.
“When men do anything for God, the very least thing, they never know where it will end, nor what amount of work it will do for Him. Love's secret, therefore, is to be always doing things for God, and not to mind because they are such very little ones.” ~ Father Frederick William Faber
CONCLUDING PRAYERS: THE MARIAN PRAYERS AND A QUESTION FOR OUR LADY
How delightful it is to conclude the unfathomably loving and immeasurably valuable offering and celebration of the Traditional Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in Latin with Marian prayers, petitioning the Blessed Virgin Mary for her maternal assistance and thanking her for loving and caring for us all.
You ask the Immaculate Mother of God how it is for her to have so many children and to be concerned for each one, particularly those who are farthest from Her Divine Son.
Her reply is her unconditional“Fiat!” to God, her “Let it be done to me according to Thy word.” Her answer, the answer, is found in the most perfect will of God for the answer is the most perfect will of God.
That is how she advocates for all of us and also for each one, for better and for worse.
The answer to accomplishing God's most perfect will is to be willing to accomplish God's most perfect will as He wills it.
“Take life all through, its adversity as well as its prosperity, its sickness as well as its health, its loss of its rights as well as its enjoyment of them, and we shall find that no natural sweetness of temper, much less any acquired philosophical equanimity, is equal to the support of a uniform habit of kindness.” ~ Father Frederick William Faber
GOD’S WILL IS THE ANSWER FOR LIFE’S ADVERSITIES
All that happens is allowed by Divine Providence for our benefit, including all hardships and struggle.
Troubles find their solutions, and their remedies, within the most perfect will of God.
Our way there is Jesus the Divine Bridegroom of every soul and His Immaculate Mother.
“The very attempt to be like our dearest Lord is already a well-spring of sweetness within us, flowing with an easy grace over all who come within our reach.” ~ Father Frederick William Faber
