God, the Author of Life, is pro-life. Are you?
Our almighty God, Lord, Creator, and Source of all love, goodness, mercy, and compassion never ceases to amaze and delight us with His wonders. Today was certainly no exception.
My children and I were absolutely overjoyed tonight to participate in the Tridentine Holy Mass at our parish, Ss. Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church.
We are always delighted to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, especially the Tridentine Holy Mass. But today, we had even more to celebrate.
Today is my son Andre's 18th birthday!
Andre and his brother Nick went to put black cassocks on and then helped set up the altar, while my daughter Alyssa and I went into the church to pray and prepared our hearts to receive Jesus.
Immediately when I began praying, Jesus hugged me very, very close and held me close for a long time. This mystical embrace was so loving, so beautiful, and so captivating! I wanted to remain there in His embrace, as the Prisoner of Love's willing prisoner of love, forever.
The one other time Jesus hugged me that intimately was late last year, the morning after God summoned my sister Belinda to her eternal reward.
Just before Holy Mass began tonight, knowing full well that Blessed Mother was there, I wondered if she was going to do or say anything. Then, someone's cell phone began playing "Ave Maria."

All through the Holy Mass, I thanked God for creating Andre. I also thanked Jesus throughout His Passion for loving us so much. During the Consecration, as the chalice was raised, and at the moment when the spear pierced His heart and mystically covered the faithful with His Precious Blood, I asked Him to shower upon humanity another massive flood of graces.
After kneeling to receive the Eucharist, I selected a larger sword from the bins in front of the altar, so that after returning to the world, I could more effectively fight the intensifying spiritual battles.
I returned to the pew with my new sword, and with the King of kings reposing on my tongue, and thanked the Child Jesus while kneeling down.
As I joyfully thanked God once again for the gift of Andre's life, He did something quite unexpected.
Jesus thanked me, for accepting His gift of life and for being Andre's mother.
