Designing a Monstrance for the Love of Your Eternal Life

Rays, drops, a ship or a cross;  what will you integrate into your beautiful design?

Just the other day I was in church assisting (participating) in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass when the Lord brought a monstrance, with a Sacred Host in the center, right to His beloved in the back row.

The monstrance was resting on a small square table about three feet high.

With God, all things are possible, and His One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic, and Pro-Life Church is miraculous, limitless, timeless, and very, very profound.

Sadly, most Catholics do not even know how profound the one true Faith is.  So much happens around us, and most of the time we are completely unaware.

Don't miss out on so much goodness!  Find out more about your Faith.  Grow in sanctity.  Desire to be closer to Jesus, and get to know Him better!  He will not refuse your request.

We already know that Jesus comes to every willing soul in the Eucharist, but did you know that you can ask Him to make His presence known to you in other delightful ways?

For instance, once you arrive at your parish, have Jesus walk you from your car into the church.  He can do that, you know.

He will even visit with you before you exit your vehicle! Jesus of the Divine Mercy can sit next to you in church, or guard you as you wait for your turn in the confessional (so the devil doesn't bother you).

The small Child Jesus may just sit in the pew in front of you, turn around, look lovingly into your eyes, and say to you, "I'm going to grow up and die on a Cross for you, because I love you that much."

Perhaps Jesus will stand in the middle isle during the Confiteor, stripped, beaten, bound, and bleeding, and ask you to accept Him, His love, and His mercy.  How can you possibly refuse?

Perhaps you will see Him personally hearing your confession.

Kneel beneath your crucified Savior while praying the Rosary.

Travel along the Way of Sacrificial Love with Jesus as you pray the Stations of the Cross. Be there at the moment when someone spits right in His face.  Stand with your hands bound to His at the pillar.  Kneel in imitation of compassionate Veronica, and lovingly wipe the Precious Blood from the Sacred Face of your Savior.

Feel Jesus' Sacred Blood and Water flowing from His side during the Consecration, when His Sacred Heart is struck by the lance and you are mystically covered with your Redemption.

Receive Holy Communion directly from your Savior gently, lovingly, and reverently on your tongue while kneeling.  Ask Jesus to purify your tongue as His Sacred Body reposes there.  Ask Him to heal you.  Ask Him to replace your heart with His.

Carry the Infant Jesus in your arms as you return to your place in church.

If anyone every tells you that Catholicism is boring, you can be certain that person does not know Catholicism.

If anyone tells you that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is boring, you can be certain that person has no understanding of what takes place.

If a person tells you that God is fiction, you can be sure then that person knows nothing worth knowing.

"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).

Discover or rediscover the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic, and Pro-Life Church, and the majestic full expression of Christianity as established by its very Founder, Jesus Christ.

God is so in love with you!

Ask the Lord to reveal Himself to you, because He is with you constantly, in so many delightful ways.  Accept His love, and love Him back!

Here is a wonderful assignment to get you going.

When the Lord brought the monstrance along with His Real Presence to His servant in the back of the church during Holy Mass, He wanted me to design my own monstrance and delight Him in return with the design of my choice.

So, inspired of course by His incredible love, I began designing a monstrance for the Lord, something personal between just the two of us that was created just for Him.  To my surprise, but why be so surprised because God's immeasurable love is so like this, the ideas just kept coming and coming and coming.

First, I created a solid gold monstrance with the Sacred Host in the middle, round like the sun for the Light of the World, with golden rays of various lengths surrounding Him all the way around.  Then, I added shapes like drops into the design, signifying His Precious Blood and also Water from His Side which poured forth completely for our Redemption.

Then I designed one in the shape of a cross, with His and my first initials entwined in beautiful script letters above the Host, and two gold rings entwined below.  They represent the mutual sacrificing of our lives for one another and our mystical union.  The cross shape represents His and my complete submission to the will of God the Father.

A third and more atypical monstrance was in the shape of a boat, because He calls us to be  fishers of men.  The boat isn't new and fancy. Instead it is used, simple, and well maintained through prayer.

The names of the Sacraments, the Bible, books and nets are carved into the outside of the boat.  The Word of God, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and authentic, profoundly Catholic books are the "nets" used to catch precious, immortal souls.

Design a monstrance for the Love of your eternal life, your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Tell Him all about it the next time you prepare your heart to receive Him before the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

And be sure to prepare your soul properly to receive so much goodness by going to Confession regularly.

God is so in love with you!!
