After arriving home in the evening following a busy 10 hour day properly serving God and caring for others at the clinic yesterday/Friday night, and with two lungs that were really hurting, there was a sudden and unexpected sign from heaven. What wonders!
While walking through the laundry room from the garage, two religious
medals fell out of a side pocket of your raincoat, one after another, and
landed on the floor.
You thought to yourself, "That's odd," since your raincoat was not upside down.
What a joy it was to receive this reminder at the end of the work week that the occupants of heaven are with us.
You wondered which two saints were manifesting themselves to us, thinking
they are among the small variety of new medals most recently acquired for those who are suffering and in need of proper care and compassion.
Both of the medals had landed face-down on the ground, and you were delighted to see that one has a relic on the back.
We sure do have fine friends in high places!
That
really piqued your interest, as none of the recently acquired medals have a relic on
the back, and you know what medals have been in your coat pockets and these two did
not look familiar.
You picked them up one at a time and flipped them over, one at a time.
The first medal, the one with the relic on the back, is a Saint (Padre) Pio medal.
"Pray, hope, and don't worry." ~ Saint (Padre) Pio of Pietrelcina
The second one is also a Saint Pio medal.
What wonders!
"Prayer is the best weapon we possess, the key that opens the heart of God." ~ Saint (Padre) Pio of Pietrelcina
