What Saint Joseph and Saint Padre Pio Have in Common

For starters, both are well known for their Christ-like compassion, and paternal intercession, for the sake of the whole world. What wonders!

“Have courage and do not fear the assaults of the devil. Remember this forever; it is a healthy sign if the devil shouts and roars around your conscience, since this shows that he is not inside your will.” ~ Saint Padre Pio

Saint Joseph and Saint Padre Pio were particularly devoted to Jesus Christ our Divine Redeemer, Divine Restorer, Divine Remedy for All, Divine High Priest, and Divine Bridegroom of Every Soul; both willingly participated in His sacrificially loving reparative and redemptive suffering via their shared desire to accomplish the most perfect will of Almighty God - as He willed - in union with Christ and without counting the personal cost; both were extraordinarily devout and holy; both experienced mystical union with Jesus and His apostolic mission for the greater honor and glory of our Triune God first and foremost and then for the sake of the whole world; and both continue to inspire and intercede for only God knows how many of His people in dramatic, profound, and everlasting ways.

Another miraculous catch of fish is coming.

“We wonder why the Gospel makes so little mention of St. Joseph.

But did it not say everything when it taught us that he was the husband of Mary?”
